Design is the logical sequence that connects the empirical data to a studys initial research questions and, ultimately, to its conclusions. Colloquially, a research design is a logical plan for getting from here to there, where here may be defined as the initial set of questions to be answered, and there is some set of conclusions (answers) about these questions. Between here and there may be found a number of major steps, including the collection and analysis of relevant data (Yin, 2018:20) In light of the statement above, critically discuss any FOUR (4) research designs you would consider when undertaking a business study which subscribes to the positivist philosophical stance.
