• To establish why residents of Mikiloni area prefer to use pit latrines and septic tanks for feacal matter disposal?
• To establish whether the water drawn from shallow wells in Mikiloni area is fit for domestic consumption.
• To establish effects of using pit lattrines and septic tanks on ground water quality (i.e from shallow wells) in MiKIloni residential area of Chingola district.
