Overtime and/or travel may be required. SKILLS, INTERESTS, VALUES Human resource officers need the following characteristics: - Good judgement and problem-solving skills, - Tact and diplomacy, - The ability to communicate well with people, both orally and in writing, - The ability to work well with others and accept direction, - Careful attention to detail, - Good organization and time management skills, and - The ability to cope with multiple demands. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Completion of High School is required Completion of college or other courses in Human Resources is desirable Minimum of two years experience as a Human Resource assistant or equivalent position
