Task Description: Students are to Choose any ONE TOPIC from the following, conduct some secondary research on the topic and write an Essay on the Policy and Practices observed by Australian Management organizations in dealing with these issues. ONE TOPIC to Australian Organisation in regards to Organisational Management within a Chosen Organisation. Specific focus on understanding Management concepts, analysis and applications.

Topics to Choose From are:

1. "Modern View of Leadership and the Issues facing today's leaders"

2. "How Technology affects Managerial Communication"

3. Understanding the historical foundation of management is useful for management education

Estimated Student Workload: 20-23 hours

Criteria used to Grade this Task: Refer to a Separate Marking Rubric for the detailed Marking Allocation

This essay demonstrated in-depth analysis of the experience, was strongly linked to theory and included in-depth discussion regarding how the learning experience will be applied in future situations.

All sources used in the paper are topic relevant and academically credible (majority within 5-7-year age range) (i.e. on- topic peer reviewed academic journal articles, Australian education institutions/government sources [2 only]) to provide robust support for position discussion.

Students are required to reflect on and critically think about Organisational management knowledge/learning they have gained and applied over the semester. Students must also evaluate how that knowledge could be used in future Management roles.
