Develop a Database Management System for an entity of your choice.

Identify a problem that involves developing or improving a current automated database management system

 Study the existing system and show a Problem description, presenting the strengths and limitations of the current system and the proposed system's scope regarding the concepts of the relational data model.

o Properly document/verify all business rules with users (and/or requesting authority)

o Determine entities, attributes, relationships, data types, and constraints

 Present your proposed database starting from the first normal form to 4th normal form

 Analyze a database design and improve the design by normalization showing the process from 1st normal form to the fourth normal form.

 Design an entity-relationship diagram to represent a normalized database

 Convert entity-relationship diagrams into relational tables (at least ten records), populate a relational database and formulate SQL queries on the data. ((utilize six query functions e.g., joins, conditions etc.)

 Use ODBC /JDBC to establish a connection to a database.
