Develop a lesson plan and 2) a written reflection explaining how you developed the lesson plan and your rationale. The lesson should be two hours long. In other words, you are submitting a lesson plan and a written reflection. You may want to use a course or professional development session you are currently teaching, a course you are planning to develop, or if you are not currently teaching, develop a course that interests you. The two-hour lesson plan could be part of a longer course or a stand-alone

This should contain:

1. Lesson plan background information such as:
   • The overall course objectives
   • The overall course outcomes
   • The overall course description
   • Description of the target population
   • All of the above should be presented in a table.
2. The lesson plan
   • Learning session objectives
   • Learning session outcomes
   • Description of the learning session
   • Description of activities and tasks for learners
   • Time allocation for all aspects of the lesson
   • All of the above should be presented in a table
   • You do not need to provide materials to be used in the lesson, just indicate these on the lesson plan
3. A written reflection that provides an explanation and rationale for your learning session plan. The reflection should include your thoughts on developing outcomes, objectives, syllabi, deep vs. surface approaches to learning, or scaffolding learning with Bloom's taxonomy.
