Develop all parts that should be present in a case study. For example, the citation, facts, issues, etc.

- Connect the case to specific Charter sections and/or the Ontario Human Rights Code. You must determine what connections are appropriate depending on the social groups, institutions, and individuals found in the case.

- Prepare both arguments in favour of the individual's rights and in favour of society's protection.

- Organize the information and use either a description of a relevant Supreme Court Case or a Complaint Process that could proceed to the Human Rights Tribunal to support your case.

- Develop the settlement and predict the consequences upon society if the individual were to win

1. A father refused to allow his child to receive a blood transfusion. The family are Jehovah Witnesses and claim it is against their religion. Ths hospital orders the transfusion with the support of a court order which grants them 72 hours guardianship of the child. The father claims his rights have been violated.
