Develop and present dashboards and reports using:

A data warehouse model that has one fact table and at least three dimensions including a time dimension.

You should connect to one or more data sources for your data. Use Kaggle or any other public data.

Structure data to be in the fact and dimensions format $($Do not spend a lot of time to do this. Use a simple data model$).$

Modify the data to do basic transformation $($e$,$g$,$ Extracting month from date, modifying data type etc.$).$

Create two new measures from the existing fact table $($e$.$g$.$ Month Over Month change of a measure, Percentage of sales in a region for a specific city$).$

Create at least two pages with each page consisting of minimum $4$ visuals.

You will be judged on how you tell the story about the data and what insights you were able to extract through this visualization.

You will have $5$ minutes to present and you will be judged by your peers.

The top three presentations will win prizes.

I understand that data preparation may be cumbersome and does not help focusing on visualization if you were to find your own data and prepare it$.$

Here is the proposed alternative:

$1.$ Use the adventure works data $-$ Adventureworks DW Json Files

$2.$ Use the sales data for the fact table and select the dimensions you want to use for reporting $($Sales Order Table$)$ and Sales Order Header; You can easily construct the Fact Table from these and store it$.$

$3.$ Pick the dimensions from the adventure works data in the first link $($Date$,$ Customer, Product etc.$)$

Using this as the data source, contrstuct your Power BI visulas.

I think this will reduce your effort to find and prepare the data. Everyone will have the same data and you differentiate your output by buildng your own data story with the data.
