Develop comprehensive WHS system documents to support the WHS system

This activity requires you to prepare the following WHS system support documents.

• WHS training plan for the following:
  • Health and safety representative (HSR)
  • Workers
• An induction plan for the new employees and visitors.
• Hazard report form
• Risk assessment template

Guidelines to prepare WHS training plan template:

• The training plan must incorporate the legislative requirements.
• The training plan must include the following sections:
  • Job title
  • Reason for training
  • Type of training
  • Duration of training
  • Responsible perform for providing the training
  • Duration of training
• The training plan must be prepared using MS Word.
• The training plan must not be more than a page.

Guidelines to prepare induction plan template:

• The induction plan must incorporate the legislative requirements.
• The induction plan must include the following sections:
  • Location of basic amenities
  • Hazard reporting procedures
  • Manual handling procedures
  • Procedure to handle hazardous substances
• The induction plan must be prepared using MS Word.
• The induction plan must not be more than a page.

You must email the WHS training plan and induction plan to the trainer/assessor.

Guidelines to prepare hazard report form:

• The hazard report form must incorporate the legislative requirements.
• The hazard report form must include the following sections:
  • Business details
  • Details of the person conducting hazard identification
  • Hazards identified
  • Risks associated
  • Risk rating
  • Risk matrix
