Develop two detailed process maps, one "Current state" and one "Proposed future state" (the same process, updated to reflect your proposed improvements)

Start by explaining the proposed changes to your current one (250-300words). Then draw out the process maps. The difference between Current state & Proposed future state show be visually obvious requiring very little explanation. The two process maps drawn should be structured as similarly as possible in order to facilitate side by side comparison. For example, put unchanged steps in the same position on the page, use color to denote changes, etc.
