Developing Auto-Teller Machine (ATM) system for the banking industry in Malaysia requires context of relevant Malaysian laws and business needs of banking industry. An ATM provides convenience to the public to perform banking any time. In UTP, the ATM located next to the cafeteria is a convenient access for student and staff alike. ATM services include balance checking, withdrawal, bill payment and transfer. A customer must have a valid bank card and the correct Personal Identification Number (PIN) to use an ATM. An ATM has components to verify customer identity and to provide menu of services. Withdrawal service for example, allows customer to withdraw a maximum cash amount up to RM5000 per day. The system uses an efficient counter to ensure the correct amount of notes are disbursed.
