Digital Signal Processing Task
Create the code in Matlab using windows and the fast fourier transform, for any type of audio signal that enters, clean the signal from the noise and leave only the beep automatically.
Nowadays, thanks to labor laws on inclusion, it is common to find people with special abilities working in many areas where they were not previously accepted. For example, there are people with hearing disabilities who work in metalworking industries. In this type of industry, there are numerous alarm signals that are used to alert workers to an event that they should pay attention to. One such alarm signal is used when a vehicle, such as a forklift, reverses. This signal is known as a backup beeper, and an example of this type of signal is found in the backup beeper.wav file. In this work environment, the sound of this alarm is mixed with the noises generated by industry activities, and workers are able to identify this alarm and take corresponding safety measures. However, a person with a hearing disability cannot do it, so an electronic device is required to assist them. In this project, we are going to create a program in MATLAB that simulates the operation of this device. The program must process a signal that contains the alarm sound along with the environmental noise (senhalX.wav). This program must detect the positions where the backup beeper alarm sound is located, determine the start and end points, and count the number of times the alarm sounded.Command Window
