Directed Research on a Company (10% of overall grade)

The purpose of this assignment is to provide the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to research a global company and show how companies can operate on a global scale.

Please pick a company you are familiar with that operates in multiple countries around the world. Some examples include restaurants (Subway, McDonald's, Starbucks), retail (Walmart, Costco, Aldo), banks (TD, Scotiabank), technology (Apple, Samsung), automotive (Toyota, Honda, GM, Ford), or feel free to choose your own. Review the notes on Managing in a Global Environment and research the company you chose online.

Required:

Based on your research and using the forces in the general environment, what factors do you think impact the company's success globally? You should be focusing on the economic, technological, socio-cultural, demographic, and political forces as outlined.Support each of the 5 forces with at least 3-4 points per force.
Base on your analysis, do you think this is a company you would like to work for when you graduate? Why or why not?
