Activity In this activity, you will write a short memoir of your own based on a personal experience.

Part A Recall a recent experience that involved at least one other person you know well. Write a two-page (or 500-word) memoir about this experience. Be sure to include many details, use descriptive language, and incorporate all the characteristics of a memoir. You should also make inferences and draw conclusions about your experience.

Part B Now look at this same event from the other person's point of view. If your memoir includes several other people, choose one to focus on. Write a paragraph describing how this other individual may have viewed the events differently than you did. Include specific details that support your interpretation.
