In short, project management is the initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing of work of a team to finish a specific goal and meet specific requirement or success criteria. Within project management, this involves coordinating people and resources to complete projects on time and within budget, also ensuring that the project delivers the intended user story as requested. Overall, this topic is of interest to me because it plays a crucial role in advancement within a company, whether it's a small business project or a large$-$scale organizational change. As a Salesforce consultant, project management is relevant to me because I work on projects that involve implementing Salesforce solutions for clients. This requires management from various aspects of the project, such as defining project scope, setting goals, managing resources, and ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.

One thing outside of the text that I've learned is that agile project management is a flexible approach that breaks projects into smaller tasks $($sprints$)$ for quicker delivery and allows a more easy way to adapt to change. Agile project management emphasizes collaboration and much communication among team members to achieve goals efficiently.
