Using some of the concepts outlined in this chapter, please provide appropriate examples to answer the following questions. Please provide otations for all the research using your textbook and scholarly resources (minimum one source other than your textbook) as references. A number of Alberta (preferred) or Canadian firms have diversified their businesses. Find one and tell us about it: Name of company; Vision and/or Mission, Original industry, new industryties), was this a related diversification, unrelated diversification or a combination related-unrelated diversification strategy, and did they start up their own operations or purchase/combine with another company? Lastly, has this been a good idea-Le in general, are the shareholders/owners better off with the diversification? Explain your answer. The first students to post will have the easiest time.
