(1) Explain with a specific example how you would teach two of the following learning strategies (cognitive, metacognitive, social/affective, or language learning) to a class that has English language learners.

(2) Think of a content topic (reading/language arts, math, science, social studies, or another subject) that you must teach that is challenging to your ELL students. Describe the topic and how you would put in place EACH one of the threetypes of scaffolds(verbal, procedural, and instructional) for your students to learn the skills/concepts of that topic.
