"I am going to use the example of commuting to work everyday. The decision analysis approach I will be using is the expected value approach. As mentioned in the textbook, this approach is best suited for decisions with multiple criteria and where each criterion can have different probabilities of outcomes. For commuting, there are factors such as weather, traffic, your energy, etc. that can introduce variability into daily your experience.
