Discussion Board #2: Which "D" are you in a group task situation? 44 Chapter Three describes four types of communication styles known as the Four D's. These general communication styles can be seen in group task situations. While we all have some elements of all styles in different situations, we tend to prefer certain styles when faced with a group task. Generally speaking (and I mean very general, don't over think this!) which style do you tend to prefer in a group task situation and why? How do you think this affects your communication within your group? Think of your gut reaction. This isn't a big psychological test...it's like the Meyer-Briggs or True Colors.
