Watch the video in the Week 15 module in CANVAS involving the probation agent's testimony in the Melendez sentencing.

conducting a peer review of a completed pre-sentence investigation, the corresponding PSI report, and the courtroom testimony about the PSI. You will also be providing a peer review of two of your classmates' original reviews of this case.

You will not have a copy of the completed PSI, however by watching the cross-examination and testimony of the probation agent that was responsible for the pre-sentence investigation and accompanying Pre-Sentence Investigation Report, you should be able to form some impressions and conduct a review addressing the detail, accuracy and completeness of the pre-sentence investigation conducted in this case, as well as the details, completeness, and accuracy of the documentation of that investigation in the Pre-Sentence Investigation Report filed with the court.

You will need to complete three posts in total.

In your first post, after watching the video, provide a review of your impressions of the overall quality of work that you believe was completed in this case. In completing this review you must address all three of the following bullet points:

• Based on the testimony, describe your thoughts about the accuracy, completeness, and detail of both the pre-sentence investigation and the Pre-Sentence Investigation Report completed in this case.
• Based on the testimony, do you believe the investigation and the report were complete, accurate, fair, and unbiased?
• Based on the testimony, provide your review of the credibility of the investigation, the credibility of the report, and the credibility of the probation agent.

After you have posted your original review, you will need to post two replies to two different students' original posts. In your two replies, you will need to review each of the student's original posts that you are responding to. In your replies you must address the following bullet points:

• Provide your feedback in terms of your impressions of the accuracy, completeness, and detail of each student's original post.
• Indicate whether you agree or disagree with each student's review and explain why or why not?

Always be professional, respectful, and courteous in your discussions - if you disagree or have some constructive criticism, always make your points in a positive manner; in a manner that is meant to assist.

Your posts should be written in full and complete sentences, be grammatically correct, and written academically.
