In module one's discussion, I mentioned the use of biometrics at work. Biometrics should be a safe way to keep information safe but it can still be hacked and the data can get stolen and used. The hackers can use these fingerprints for accessing areas they are restricted from accessing. The risks of biometrics is that our biometric information is vulnerable and hackers have access to it if the security is not good. The biometric information could be used to access areas that typical people cannot enter. The biometric data can be used by the hackers to impersonate another person. Then, the hackers can take advantage of this and use it to access information they are not authorized to access. This can affect the confidentiality, integrity, and the availability of the company because the biometric information is being used to access company information and therefore losing the trust in the company.
