With my project, I am working on analyzing the relationship between healthcare organizations and the local community, specifically focusing on the inner workings of a reverse job fair for local high school students for their senior project.$$ I discussed my project and the communication plan with my preceptor$/$mentor$.$ I helped deliver an overview of the project and the objectives with my progress thus far. The communication plan will consist of monthly meetings and regular updates via email to the other organizers of the reverse job fair for the students and any other relevant stakeholders. My preceptor$/$mentor gave me valuable feedback regarding the communication plan. She suggested ensuring there are regular monthly and potential weekly meetings as we get closer to the job fair, where we can ensure that each team member is going about their tasks accordingly. She also discussed the inner workings of the hospital and how healthcare organizations are heavily involved with various community projects. She is looking forward to helping me analyze and understand this further.$$

My preceptor mentor has great communication skills. She offers direct offers and thoughtful, considerate messages that allow me to go through the process and plan accordingly. She also uses active listening and allows me to ask questions and any concerns I have and bounce potential ideas off of her. She is quite collaborative and supportive throughout this whole process. Each stakeholder requires a different set of communication tools. If it is more focused on internally, she has established many relationships with each key member within the organization, so it is more familiar, whereas externally, it's more professional based.
