The chapter also emphasizes the difficulty in measuring one person$$s ethics against another person$$s desire to make money. It's also mentioned that even though the U$.$S$.$ government has passed laws to control criminal behavior and ethical issues associated with the Internet, the ever$-$changing technology associated with the information age makes this an ongoing challenge.

Discuss the personal and professional implications of so much individual data being gathered, stored, and sold. Should businesses be allowed to gather as much as they want? Should individuals have more control over their data that are gathered?
