Discussion Topic #$3$ Prompt and Instructions

Chapter $9$ includes a section on pricing transparency in healthcare. While some

state and federal laws have tried to address the lack of pricing transparency for

basic or common tests and procedures, it is still difficult or cumbersome for many

consumers to properly identify these costs. For this week's discussion topic,

identify a procedure or test that a patient may routinely need completed. This

could be a chest x$-$ray, thyroid ultrasound, brain MRI, or a surgery such as a

gallbladder removal. Then, try to find the price of your selected test or

procedure at two healthcare organizations. Please include the costs and

organizations in your post. Additionally, please explain if you thought the

process to find these prices was simple or complicated. If you had any
