Dithering or also known as half-tone printing is often used when converting grayscale images to monochrome. There are several different types of dithering. By using the 7 3 9 pattern mask given as 5 1 8 4 2 6 and by referring to Figure Q2(c) that shows a small portion of the pixel data for a grayscale image, briefly explain the pattern dithering process and compute the output pixels value after pattern dithering is applied to the image.
