Tom stabbed Roy with a knife in his stomach.

James, a security guard, sees Roy bleeding on the road, but as he is late for work, he drives on without helping him.

Sarah, a nurse at a doctor's office, observes Roy's condition but does not stop to help him.

After she gets to work, she telephones the police and Constable Brown takes Roy to the hospital. He is left for an hour before being treated by Dr. Wright.

While being treated, Roy dies from a heart condition he has had for years.

Using legislation and the common law, advise on any criminal liability that may arise.

Question 2

Stephen, a salesman, is driving with his assistant Joe on Junction Road to Saint Mary. There were several "No Overtaking" signs and continuous white lines along the roadway. Stephen had been travelling for some time behind a slow-moving tractor and decided to overtake it at a no overtaking spot and blind corner. As he does so, he collides with a car driven by Simon, badly injuring him.

They decided to take him to a hospital, but during the journey, it appeared to them that he was dead.

They wrapped him in a tarpaulin and threw his body over a cliff. It landed, hitting Jane on the head, causing a concussion. Jane was unconscious.

The post mortem report stated that Simon died from suffocation.

Using legislation and the common law, advise if anyone bears any criminal liability in the circumstances outlined.
