Project Proposal Early Learning Centre Project Project Objective The Early Learning Centre has Directors, Assistant Directors and Teachers. The Directors oversee the organization as a whole and the Assistant Directors manage their individual ORRIORS. The school has a number of regular students and drop-in students at each centre who need to be in the care of a teacher. Recently the number of students has drastically increased so The Early Learning Centre requires a student parent contact and scheduling system. Project Scope The system must be able store all students and staff of the Early Learning Centre. The system should be able to schedule a student who is assigned to a regular schedule and also students who require drop-in care. Parents should receive an email confirming their child's schedule whenever changes are made. The system must allow the list of students to be increased when new students register and decreased when students leave. Only directors and assistant directors will be able to add new students to the system. All employees should be able to search for all current and past students. Assistant directors and teachers want to also track developmental milestones about the student. Parents must receive daily reports regarding their children's daily activities. Daily activities are planned by the assigned teacher. Parents also should receive pictures and videos throughout the day. This information highlights activities their children are currently engaged in. If students are absent for a day then this should be recorded within the system. Lastly parents should have the ability to email or message the Centre and or Teacher when they have questions or information to relay. The system must allow all employees to create and remove daily schedules for the Centre. Assistant directors must be able to assign children to the schedule. Teachers need to ensure that daily attendance records are kept for every child in their care. Drop-in care is similar to regular care but they are only allowed when the teacher is under their teacher child ratio for the day. Directors are in charge of hiring, tracking and managing assistant directors and teachers.
