Do some research into relationships between IT framework(s) and business strategy and/or IT strategy. Enterprise Architecture (EA) [1] is an example framework that arose because of both technology (IT) complexity and making IT meet business need. Other frameworks include COBIT, ITIL, etc. Cover at least one framework (if in doubt, use EA) and two relationships (e.g., EA arose to help organizations effectively harness their IT to execute their business strategies).
