do you agree or disagree with the post and why??hours ago RE: Virtualization Benefits First reason I would choose to use virtualization is to help lower cost especially when needing or dealing with multiple servers. Having 1 physical machine and allocating/sharing resources over multiple servers that only need a certain amount of space, memory, etc.... will reduce how much energy is used to run multiple servers and how many pieces of hardware you will need to purchase. Being able to divide/partition the resources helps a lot. Example, instead of having one machine that has 16gb of ram for an employee that will probably not need all with the type of work they do dally you can spread it over 4 different virtual machines and utilize the memory more efficiently. Second reason I would choose to use virtualization is that it allows me to have a different operating system. Say you are taking a class on Linux and only have a windows operating system at home, you can simply download and install a virtual machine on your current windows Os such as VirtualBox or VMware and install Linux without having to get another computer/laptop. Now you will be able to have hands on experience with the Linux OS without the hassle or expense of getting a separate machine
