The common sources of risk on IT Projects are;

• lack of proper involvement: The first significant risk that IT projects have is improper engagement at the project's beginning and later adjustments. As a result, the project is altered, which raises the cost. Early project design collaboration would prevent any last-minute alterations and help save money in order to prevent this.
• Support of people involved in the project: The absence of participation from project team members is another significant risk that IT initiatives must manage with. For instance, the project's sponsor should be aware of its significance. However, it sometimes occurs, which causes enthusiasm in the project to decrease. Which is why, in order to prevent this, the project's major influencers should be aware of its significance and guarantee that it is being handled with the utmost care.
• Additional uncontrolled requirements: As it was said in the first point, not being involved in the project causes modifications, which create more needs. Although controlled needs are frequent, if the project is not planned effectively, the requirements that occur can cause uncontrollable requirements, which will increase expenses. As a result, the planning phase of a project should be organized, with responsibilities and objectives well defined.
• Difference in expectations of results: Despite the fact that the customer and project manager have a clear understanding of what should be achieved from a project, it usually appears that the project loses attention in the middle and its purpose is forgotten. The client is not informed of the modifications and has the same expectations as before, but because the outcome will be different, there will be a conflict. This should be prevented by giving the customer regular updates on the project's status to make sure their expectations and the outcomes line up.

For the website that I will be creating for GY Auto Service, I feel lack of proper involvement would not work as it is an auto body shop. Typical all auto body shops have their mechanics working to the same goal and working together to complete projects.
