1. Have you done any stock investments? Which stocks would you pick for your long-term investment, which ones for your short-term investment, and why?

I have invested in stocks since I was 18 years old at the advice of my grandfather.I have a mixture of stocks to include government more secured stocks and the more risky international and short terms stocks.I separate them in a way where one is for learning and more fun gambling, and the other is a more secure set up for retirement investment. I prefer the long term gonvernment stocks because they are basically guaranteed to increase slowly over time.The more risky short term stocks have gone well for me, however depending what is going on with the economy, they can drop rapidly.
