Do you agree with my classmate discussion question below.

Classmate Question Something that surprised me this week was reading that some countries find certain sexual activities illegal and/or a crime. " However, consensual sexual activity between men (and, in some cases, women) is a crime in approximately 80% of countries in Africa and approximately 40% of countries in Asia (notable exceptions are South Africa, which recognizes same-sex marriage, and all of the East Asian nations, including China, Japan, and Mongolia)." (E-text pg. 284) Something else that has shocked me is the punishment that some of the people endure if found guilty. Some people may experience death for having sexual activities with the people they are attracted to? That to me is unfair and cruel. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and a right to feel the way they do but to punish them for doing something that they want to do? It is disgusting.
