Depending upon the general dependency postulate, I will use following means to accomplish higher position in company.

• Acquiring skills so that I can be considered as dependent upon. More skills I have, more company will depend upon me. I will bring skill sets and capabilities which are important to bring more dependency on me.
• Dependency is inversely proportional to alternative sources. I will make sure that alternative source wont cross me. My higher capabilities and abilities will make sure that there are not more available options.
• I will acquire the skills which are scare in the area but are much appreciated at the workplace.
• The person with variable skill sets and knowledge can negotiate packages and salaries. I will be able to accomplish that with my skills and positions(Davidson,2012).

My goal will be increasing dependency on me. It is a profound management tool. I will use power garnered through skill set in negotiation and power over the other sales members. I will create my inner circle who will report to me, I will us this inner circle to get information about other employees.
