Do you think that the rules regarding UPL are too punitive and draconian and perhaps there is a place for independent paralegals (often known as legal technicians) to work for the public to provide more economical legal services? If you were writing the statute allowing this, name two or three things you would let independent legal technicians do for the public and two or three things you would not let them do.
