Does Netflix hold a competitive advantage? I believe for the time Netflix does hold a competitive advantage for the moment. Their most significant advantage is their past success with creating hit shows and being the name brand of streaming. With their new password policy that could change quickly as many competitors are right on their heels. I do not believe their competitive advantage will last as other competitors are having similar and even better offerings. Netflix is also a standalone service where many of its competitors can be bundled with other services which is attractive to consumers. Due to these reasons, I believe they will lose their competitive advantage and market share in the streaming industry
