Does response 1 answer the question? 1. You are charged with a crime in a very small isolated town. You hire one of the two attorneys in town to defend you (the other one is his brother, the prosecutor). You ask for a jury trial, and they bring in four people to decide your fate. Are these four a legitimate jury? Why or Why not? Explain your response in detail using concepts from your readings. response 1 I don't think that this would count as a legitimate jury. The United States Constitution gives everyone a right to a fair trial and an impartial jury. Therefore I think that a jury of four people would not be considered fair or an impartial jury. I also think that the relationship between the defendant and prosecutor could also be considered a conflict of interest and it could also start to raise concerns in the town as well. All in all, I think a fair trial requires a large enough jury that way impartiality can be ensured and there won't be concerns about a fair trial
