Transfer Kargo is specialized in inter$-$city transportation of valuable and fragile goods. Such

goods are insured before shipment and are carried with special care. The shipment process in

Transfer Kargo is designed as follows. A customer, who is willing to send a valuable item, first

declares the item to the cargo attendant. The attendant can only accept the item if the customer

has a notarized letter declaring the value of the item. If the customer does not have this letter,

then the item cannot be admitted for transportation. In such a case, the customer is asked to

obtain this letter and come back again. If the customer has the notarized statement, then the

attendant weighs the good and measures its rectangular dimensions. He enters the weight, size,

value, and the main features of the item into the main database system. Then, this information is

sent electronically to the headquarters which quote a price for shipment by examining the

provided information. It takes about $10$ minutes on the average for the headquarters to send a

price quotation back to the attendant. Then, the attendant reveals the price quoted by the

headquarters to the customer. If the customer finds the price too much, then he leaves the store

without having his item shipped. Otherwise, the attendant gives a form to the customer to fill in$,$

asking the contact information of the sender and the receiver. Then the sender pays the money to

the attendant. The attendant packs the item and hands it to the truck driver who locates the item

carefully in a suitable compartment of the truck. The package waits in the truck until midnight,

as all the trucks depart about midnight whenever all cargo of that day are collected and loaded in

the truck. The cargo reaches its destination overnight.
