Draw an EER diagram for the Health Science Lab. Your EER diagram must be complete, meaning that all necessary information must be presented. You must use the standard notations which we have used in the class. Underline the identifier for each entity. Make appropriate assumptions, if necessary, and clearly state them. The appropriateness of your assumption will be evaluated. • The Health Science Lab conducts a wide range of science experiments. Attributes of an experiment is Experiment ID (identifier) and description. • Many employees work at the Health Science Lab. An employee may be either a scientist or a staff. A small number of persons do not belong to either category. All person entities in the database have data kept on SSN and name. • Each scientist has Degree as an attribute. Each staff has Certificate as an attribute. • A scientist may be assigned to one experiment, many experiments, or no experiment. The Health Science Lab wants to record the start date and end date of each scientist-experiment assignment. • A staff is qualified to maintain one or more labs. Attributes of lab is Lab_ID and Lab_Name. A lab must have at least one staff who is qualified for maintenance. • A scientist uses one or more Labs to conduct certain experiments. However, some experiments may not need any labs, and some labs may never be used in any experiments. The database needs to keep track of the date and time which a scientist uses a lab for a particular experiment. Draw an EER diagram for the Health Science Lab.
