OBJECTIVE: IDENTIFY COLOR THEORIES AND COLOR SCHEMES
Using your textbook, the color wheel and information that you obtained from Unit 3B create a composition of color schemes. You can use a magazine, items from
nature, photos that you own or any other source that can be photographed and uploaded to a power point presentation. Your images can be any subject matter,
not just interiors. You may also use images from online, as long as you create a sources slide at the end of your PowerPoint linking to the images used.
Directions: Using the list below select/create one (1) color scheme for each type listed. There are eight listed, so you create 8 color schemes.
Analogous (1 warm)
Analogous (1 cool)
Complementary (direct)
Split complement
Triad Complement
Monotone (neutralized colors)
Achromatic (blacks, whites, greys)
Monochromatic (tints and shades of the same hue)
Create a power point presentation and insert the image(s) that you have selected to create each scheme. Under the item(s) or image(s), list the type of color
scheme represented and name the colors (hues) that are creating the scheme. Make sure that you understand what the colors are for the color scheme do your
best to describe/name the colors that you are identifying. For example: light blue, navy blue, red-orange, lime green, etc.

Slide 2-9- images of your selected color schemes with a text box that describes the colors used and the actual color scheme that the image reflects - again you
should be creative, just make sure that the information is there and that it is accurate.
Slide 11- Sources slide for images you found online or in magazines, if you used any that were not your own photos.
