A and $B$ were brothers. From $2003$ to $2008,$ A lived with his brother and his brother's wife, C$.$ During this

period, A performed various services for his brother and sister$-$in$-$law. In $2005,$ B and C purchased land. In

$2015,$ in the presence of C$,$ B wrote to A$,$ "When we're gone, this land is yours." A had not done any work for B

since $2008$ and none was expected or provided in the future. In $2018,$ after both B and C died, A filed a claim

with the estate of $B,$ seeking specific performance of the $2015$ promise. Does A get the property?
