During the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, there were changes regarding the manner in how individuals shopped for groceries. Historically, online shopping was not prolific, however, once the global pandemic began there was a marked shift in attitude towards this modality of obtaining food. A study conducted by Ellison et al. (2021), investigated four time points relative to the onset of the pandemic. An approximate doubling of online grocery shopping was noted. We would like to investigate if those surveyed at the latest time point had an online grocery shopping rate different than 20%. From the collected data, it was found that of the 1,370 individuals who participated, 17% responded that they had participated in online grocery shopping. 1.
