During the interview potential candidates for my position the three questions that I would ask would be as follows: 1) Explain your experience of working with ambulance, flight, and medical claims? 2) In your past job experiences, briefly explain how you dealt with vendors that were calling for medical claims that have not been processed? 3) Customer service question. Within your past job experiences, explain a time when you had to deal with an irate customer who refused to take your information on how the process of medical claims works. What was the outcome.
Out of the three questions, being asked, this will let me know how well the candidate is knowledgeable in processing medical, ambulance, and flight claims. How to deal with vendors that will be calling for updates, and customers who can be or can get upset because they want things done their way. I say this, because if a candidate is familiar with the job roles and what is expected of the job, the training portion of the job duties won't be hard for them to catch on too. Anyone can apply for a job and say they have the experience to do the job. But when it comes down to it, they need more training or it can take them longer to understand the job. Everyone is different when it comes to learning or training and there are those that can catch on right away. Sometimes, during the interviews, simple answers or in-depth answers to questions the interview panel asks, will tell you about their work experiences.
