Each team will create a design$/$build project schedule for this project to be completed

using accelerated design$/$construction principles. Tasks will be designated for each phase

of the project.

Engineering Tasks will include $($but are not limited to$)$:

$1.$ Evaluation of the existing structure

$2.$ Environmental assessment

$3.$ Design of the renovations to existing pier

$4.$ Design of the pier extension $($to include structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic design$)$

Note: Each of these tasks will contain multiple sub$-$tasks

Construction Tasks will include $($but are not limited to$)$:

$1.$ Demolition of existing facilities

$2.$ Renovation of existing pier

$3.$ Construction of new pier

Project Management Considerations$/$Tasks will include $($but are not limited to$)$:

$1.$ Permitting

$2.$ Liaison with relevant governmental agencies $($local$,$ state, and federal$)$

$3.$ Staging of materials

$4.$ Impact on other beach activities $/$ businesses during construction

$5.$ Interaction between design and build principals

$6.$ Removal of debris

$7.$ Inspections

$8.$ Opening to Public

You do not have to give specific dates or lengths of time. I am interested to see how you will

arrange the tasks in your schedule to allow you to complete the project in the shortest amount

of time.
