ECG & Pulse Lab Activity ( from BioPac Lesson #7) Figures & Analysis suggested by Mon day , June 3 rd Assessment on Tue s day, June 1 1 th This lab activity is an exercise involving data collection, gathering measurements, displaying data graphically and performing some descriptive analysis. There isn't much physiology in this activity, aside from what you already encountered in the Lab #1 Activity, such as the ECG containing something called a QRS Complex, and that a Pulse wave occurs as part of each car diac cycle. The goal of this activity is to take measurements, creat e a data set, and start the process of data analysis. Steps of this Lab Activity: 1. Data is/ was collected using BioPac Lesson #7 . Three recording segments in total. Each recording segment contains around 20 cardiac cycles . The first recording segment is a 'control' segment with the subject s eated and relaxed. Segment 2 has the subject stand, with data recording immediately after standing. Segment 3 has the subject hold their breath throu gh the recording. 2.
