For this activity, you will complete the assessment and reflect on the implications for your IT organization or the institution as whole.
Directions
- Read the introduction to the assessment starting on page 13. The assessment itself begins on page 18.
- Complete the assessment to the best of your ability. For each factor, try to answer honestly.
- After completing the assessment and calculating your results, produce a one-page executive summary that answers the following questions:
- What surprises or insights were uncovered by the assessment?
- Which aspects of your organization's culture need the most attention?
- Who do you need to engage with to bring about necessary and meaningful change?
- What concrete steps can you take to contribute to a more innovative culture?
- Consider sharing your results and summary with relevant stakeholders at your institution. This can lead to important conversations about how to better prepare for change initiatives in the future.

My strengths lead with my spirit of Optimism, coupled with Passon and Drive and align perfectly with my Resourcefulness, Confidence and Adventurousness. According to the survey my room for improvement areas includes Adaptability and Tolerance for Ambiguity. I am a natural collaborator and big-picture thinker. I am always open to change, but I am in support of Data-Driven decision-making and driving organizational change through Business Analytics, User-Stories, Business Analysis, and metrics w/solution-oriented implementations in mind.
