Design Problem

A combinational circuit has a $4$ inputs $($W$,$ X$,$ Y$,$ Z$)$ and a single output$($A$).$ The output $A=1$ iff the input is an invalid $6-3-1-1$ code. Design the circuit using $8-$to$-1$ multiplexer.

Procedure

Construct the truth table of the logic problem.

Determine the required data inputs of the $8-$to$-1$ multiplexer given that input variables $W,x,Y$ are selected as the control inputs.
