Question: Eight ( 8 ) judges ( A , B , C , D , E , F , G , & H ) sit on

Eight (8) judges (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, & H) sit on Supreme Court bench. Normally each judge
would discuss their opinion with regards to a case behind chambers. However, due to a sensitive
issue being adjudicated over, the judges wish to avoid the current convention and have each of
their opinions held secret. The case has a simple 'YES' or 'NO' answer to the question being
asked which was on referral from the President of the State. A majority opinion represents four
(5) or more judges agreeing with the same verdict.
A eight-input function is to be implemented, which will assert its output according to the above
requirements.
Note: When designing, think broadly and try to come up with an innovative solution keeping in
mind factors such as cost, size and power consumption.
Procedure:
Draw a truth table for this design meeting the given requirements.
From the truth table, get the minimum expression.
Implement the Boolean expression using NI Multisim to test your circuit.
Report write-up (should include a detailed analysis).
