Eight years ago, you opened Tiny Tots Day Care with six children, and it has grown to a capacity of 65 children. Its reputation is so high that there is a waiting list of 78 children. As the director and owner of the center, you now face a problem that you have never before encountered. You must expel a child from your center. Your Task You need to write a formal letter (see Standard Letter formatting in Appendix A of our textbook) to Mr. and Mrs. Brady, telling them that their four-year-old son, Brett, is being expelled from Tiny Tots Day Care. Since Brett entered your center, things haven't been the same. This child is not able to get along with other children. In his two months at Tiny Tots, he has bitten six children (causing one child to require stitches), kicked a teacher, and regularly scratched, hit, and pulled hair. Several parents have threatened to pull their children out of your center if Brett does not leave. Despite several conferences with Brett's parents, who seem reasonable and concerned about their son, you have observed no changes in his behavior. Write the letter to the Bradys, following the advice of our textbook for delivering negative information. Remember that this is the Bradys' only child, so choose your words carefully.
