ELEMENTARY STATISTICS (SQQS1013)

Question1 :- In a shooting competition, one has to shoot a target board that has the value of money to be won as in Figure 1. If the participant can shoot to the red area, the value of money is RM15 and yellow area worth RM8. If the shot goes wrong, which is not about any color, the player has to pay the organizer RM5. A total of two shots must be fired by each player for each game. To participate in the competition, each participant must pay RM10. The probability of a player being able to shoot directly into the red and yellow areas is 0.2 and 0.3 respectively.
