Elizabeth Comack argues that race, class, and gender are used to "divide, separate and categorize' among members of society. According to her, these three key elements are the basis of inequality and discrimination that exist in Canadian society. Can you think of any other aspects which can be the basis for inequality or discrimination other than the three main aspects Comack mentioned in her paper? Analyze them. Moreover, as we have observed in class that the Canadian government placed a significant promise to serve justice for discriminated groups of people. Can the government eliminate the discrimination and inequality that diverse groups are facing? Have all promises been implemented? If failed, why?
